A fantastic one-click Rec709 transform LUT for Canon Clog2 and Clog3 using the Canon Cinema Gamut footage.
I developed this LUT simply because I was not happy with the Canon provided LUTs, namely with how blues and skin tones were mapped as well as contrast, highlight rolloff and shadow detail. These LUTs fix those issues*.
This LUT pack is perfect for any Canon camera that shoots in Canon Cinema Gamut and either records in Clog2 or Clog3
Included Cinema Gamut LUTs (Clog2 and Clog3):
Base, Moody, Neutral, Boost, Indie**, Faithful, Faithful Crush, Vibe**, Vibe Crush**
Key Features:
Accurate colors
Accurate skin tones
Pleasing highlight roll-off
**Creative LUT
*These LUTs are designed to give you a starting point for color grading. In many cases, they look great without any other corrections (when your footage is exposed and balanced properly), but I intentionally do not stretch the contrast/saturation very far so as to work in all lighting conditions. My intent is to not “destroy” the image with too much contrast or saturation like many other LUTs out there do, so consequently, additional contrast or saturation may be needed to your footage to suit your preference. Some of my Canon LUTs have more contrast than others for a more creative look.
